Phonics

Learners will be able to use approximate spellings of words, based on their ability to hear, identify, and manipulate sounds and develop their knowledge of letter-sound correspondence.

Learners will be able to develop and expand upon foundational literacy skills to become effective communicators in the Vietnamese language.

Vietnamese

Learners will be able to demonstrate literacy behaviors that enable beginning readers to make sense of a variety of texts, communicate with others, and demonstrate an understanding and critical awareness of a variety of written materials that are read by and with their educators.

Literacy

Learners will be able to demonstrate an awareness of the natural and built environment through hands-on explorations, observations, questions, and representations of their findings.

Science & Tech

Learners will be able to develop self-regulation skills, and accountability for health, well-being, and the environment while cultivating a sense of security, emotional and social competence, curiosity, creativity, confidence in learning, and respect for diversity.

Social Studies

Learners will be able to develop a more holistic understanding and appreciation of the core subjects of mathematics, science, and technological education through project work in coding, innovation, and design.

STEM

Learners will be able to express their responses to a variety of forms of drama, dance, music, and visual arts from various cultures and communities and communicate their thoughts and feelings, and their theories and ideas, through various art forms.

Music & Visual Arts

Learners will be empowered to make choices that will keep them healthy by understanding how those choices affect their bodies and feelings. They will appreciate the value of being physically active to keep their bodies healthy and safe and grow strong. They will do this through active competitive and non-competitive sports and individual skill development.

Health & Physical Education

Learners will be able to demonstrate an understanding of numbers by using concrete materials to explore and investigate counting, quantity, and number relationships. Through inquiry and activity-based learning, they will recognize, explore, describe, compare, extend, translate,
and predict patterns.

Numeracy

The purpose of the Intro program - "Get Ready for Grade 1" is to establish a strong foundation for young learners in a safe and caring, activity-based environment that promotes the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of children.

ADMISSION PROCESS & PATHWAYS

1. Student Interview conducted (Independence-based PT)
2. Parent Interview conducted
3. Admission follows the 2022-2023 school year calendar.
4. By June 2023 – EAL Evaluation
5. The student is recommended to enter grade 1 without condition or on condition of enrollment into the EAL Program
6. The student enters grade 1 in either OIP or OOP.

When paying tuition fees for the course "Ready for Grade 1" and paying deposit fees for Grade 1 in 2023–2024 before 12th March 2023:
• 25% subsidy on the Term 3 & Term 4 2022-2023 School Tuition Fee
• 10% subsidy on Grade 1 2023-2024 School Tuition fee
• Free enrollment fee (valued at 10,000,000 VND)
• Free placement test fee: 2,500,000 VND.
• 1 free uniform set (valued 1,500,000 VND)
